Marijuana Is Good - Kume Preko Demonstrator Turns Wee Advocate

Kume Preko demonstration

One of the protesters at the Kume Preko reloaded march is in favor of legalizing and promoting marijuana use.

He calls for the use of hemp to be allowed since, in his opinion, it is not wrong.

Martin Kpebu, the demonstration's chief organizer, lambasted the president for his poor handling of the economy.

According to a study, 54% of Ghanaians want the President and Vice President to step down.

"Ghanaians come out, come out in your numbers, there has been research which shows that 54 percent of the citizens ask that the President and Vice President should resign so please come out for the President to see the numbers," he said at Obra sport where the demonstrators had gathered.

Starting at the Obra Spot in Accra, the demonstration will culminate at Independence Square.

This occurs while the President is under increasing pressure to fire his finance minister, Ken Ofori-Atta.

A press conference was arranged by a few Majority Party lawmakers to demand his dismissal.

Those MPs, according to Mr. Kpebu, were heroes.

"Have you seen the 80 MPs, turned to 95, they have broken ranks with the president," he remarked while appearing on the Community Connect on 3FM on Friday, November 5 with Johnnie Hughes.

"So like I have always been saying, for the President, he has lost legitimacy because he can’t even negotiate with his own MPs, he is not a leader. So now you see how he is not just an embarrassment but he has been dealt with a mortal blow."
