National Science And Maths Quiz (NSMQ) Finalists From 1994 To Present

The National Science and Maths Quiz is an annual national-level quiz tournament for senior high schools in Ghana that is centred on science and mathematics subjects.

Since 1994, it has been produced by Primetime Limited, an advertising and PR firm specializing in the educational sector.

The programme since its inception has seen 18 schools reach the final.

In this article, you are going to learn about all the 18 senior high schools that have ever reached the finals of the competition and the year.

To sum it up, Pope John Secondary School, West Africa Senior High School, Kumasi Anglican Senior High School, Wesley Girls' High School, Keta Senior High Technical School, University Practice Senior High School, and Mfantsiman Girls' Senior High School have been to the finals just once (1).

St. Augustine's College, St. Thomas Aquinas Senior Secondary School, and St. Francis Xavier Junior Seminary have also been to the finals twice (2).

Ghana Secondary Technical School is the only school to reach the finals on three (3) occasions.

Achimota School and Mfantsipim School have also been to the finals on four (4) occasions.

Adisadel College is the only school that has been to the finals six (6) times.

Prempeh College also has recorded seven (7) finals appearances.

Opoku Ware School and St. Peter's Senior High School both have eight (8) final appearances.

Presbyterian Boys' Secondary School which is leading has reached the finals of the competition on eleven (11) different occasions.
