Celebrity from Kenya Vera Sidika has said she had surgery to remove her backlift.
The television and social media star underlined the discomfort the butt implant caused her while describing the experience as a "rebirth" in an Instagram post.
"This has been the hardest phase in my life, Due to health risks & complications , I had to undergo surgery. It’s Still very unbelievable But I’ve come to terms with it & learnt to love myself regardless", she relayed to her 2.3 million Instagram followers alongside a picture of her new look.
She added, "Honestly It’s been pretty hard, I didn’t even celebrate my bday this year, but here we are. Happy birthday to me. New me. I’ve come to appreciate life & never take things for granted".
She also took use of the occasion to discourage young ladies from getting the implant, which has become very popular, particularly among celebrities.
"Ladies; pls learn to love yourself & don’t ever let peer pressure rush u into things that will ruin you in future. I’m lucky to be alive, God loves me so much.
She also appreciated her family and fans for their support and promised, "I am still the same sweetest Vera Sidika and that hasn’t changed".
She also posted a video of herself during the tests for the procedure.
