Ebola Cases Rise In Uganda As Outbreak Spreads

The number of possible Ebola illnesses is growing in Uganda.

According to the health ministry, 34 cases have been recorded of which 21 deaths are most likely caused by the Ebola virus.

Members from the health department are still looking for anyone who may have come in contact with it.


The outbreak started in Mubende's core district but has already expanded to two nearby districts.

There are currently no verified instances in Kampala, the country's capital.


The current Ebola epidemic in Uganda is the country's fourth outbreak.

It has been reported that neighbouring nations are on high alert.
