Man Jailed In Manchester For Sexually Abusing His Dog

Following the discovery of video evidence of a paedophile assaulting his dog, police sentenced him to prison for a number of heinous crimes against children and animals.

At Manchester Minshull Street Crown Court on Wednesday, Douglas Moore, 34, was found guilty on 24 charges of numerous sex offences, including having sex with an animal, after the Met Police discovered "sickening footage" of him physically and sexually abusing a dog.

An examination of Moore's electronic devices indicated that he also attempted to organize meetings for the abuse of children and dogs and looked for chances to trade and share materials with other abusers.

There was no proof that the attempted encounters were successful.

Additionally, he was discovered posting offensive articles online and possessing marijuana.

Moore will spend the rest of his life on the sex offenders list and is no longer permitted to possess animals.

Last year, the Met police came across a video of a dog being abused physically and sexually while looking into another crime.

Senior cops had to be summoned since the video was so upsetting, and a warrant was requested to both arrest the perpetrator and rescue the animal.

On November 8, 2021, Moore, a Manchester resident, was arrested at his Stockport home on suspicion of bestiality, having extreme pornography, and giving needless pain to an animal.

The dog was found on the premises and taken away. Aside from other items like his computer and phone, officers also removed cannabis from the scene.

Specialists discovered Moore had been abhorrently sexually abusing the dog for a long time and had been using the dark web to see even more terrible images of humans and animals.

In order to hide his egregious misconduct, Moore had also gone to tremendous efforts to delete chat logs and internet histories.

According to investigators, Moore was forced to enter a guilty plea because the evidence was so strong against him.

The paedophile was found guilty of having oral sex with a living or dead animal, intercourse with an animal, and needless suffering of a protected animal.

He was also found guilty of willfully promoting or aiding the commission of an animal-intercourse crime as well as possessing extreme pornographic image(s) or photos depicting an act of intercourse.

In addition, he was found guilty of child sex offences such as creating false or indecent photographs of children and attempting to set up the conduct of child sex crimes.

Finally, he was found guilty of posting an offensive internet article and possessing cannabis or cannabis resin, both illegal Class B drugs.
