Thomas Tuchel, the German coach of English Premier League club Chelsea is sacked by the club management.
This came as a result of the poor run of results the club has suffered since the inception of this new season
What triggered this sack is the loss to Dinamo Zagreb in the Uefa Champions League which is a high-profile league of Europe's top teams and winners of the various top club tier leagues.
The club made this statement on their official Twitter channel

The German was appointed as Chelsea's head coach to replace Frank Lampard On 26 January 2021 and led the club to win the Uefa championship, Uefa Super Cup, and FIFA Club World Cup in the same year
