Road accident in Ghana is one of the major problems this country is currently facing and has been facing overtime.
A trailer has been involved in an accident on the Accra-Nsawam Highway blocking the road for easy movement of vehicles.
In the early hours of today 18th September 2021, the Ghana Police Service on their social media handle announced an accident on the Accra-Nsawam Highway.
The announcement which was accompanied by some photos from the scene reveals an overloaded trailer overturned on the highway.
This trailer is seen to be loaded with gallons of cooking oil.
The Police upon reaching the scene of the accident decided to make an announcement about what has happened on the highway for those who will be plying the road to be aware.
The accident is reported to have happened specifically near the Axle Weighing Centre.
The Police, therefore, urge road users to temporarily use the alternate routes provided by them while they work on removing the vehicle off the road.
