A Ghanaian man who claims to be a musician has conned an old British granny out of £18,000 after seducing her into marriage.
According to the UK news portal dailymail.co.uk, the guy from Ghana who goes by the name Rodney Cudjoe has been accused by his Sugar Mummy Beth Haining of conning out of her £18,000.
30 years old Rodney Cudjoe meet the British woman Beth Haining who happens to be 68 years old online in December 2014.
The woman after series of chats with his new friend decided to fly to Accra Ghana to visit him.
Rodney thought it as an opportunity to propose love to her in front of his friends.
Beth after consulting her children about it was begged not to but she went ahead with the wedding with her lover.
According to the woman, she paid Rodney's visa and lavishing £18,000 of her savings so that he can be with her in the UK.
She also revealed that their time in Ghana was magical as they had sex at least three times every day, in the morning, afternoon and evening.
The mood of Rodney who was romantic changed as soon as he landed in the UK.
He started complaining about the UK's food and cold weather and was always sleeping on the sofa instead of the bed.
During their stay, Rodney never contributed to anything in the house even when he started working at a packing factory.
He will always demand money from this woman while he repatriates his earnings to Ghana.
Prior to Rodneys coming to stay in the UK, he had requested £200 and £2,000 all in the name of investing in his music studio in Ghana.
After they eventually realized that the relationship was not working Rodney agreed to return back to Ghana and she gave him the airfare and the money for the taxi.
Rodney in order to continue his stay in the UK after the collapsed marriage decided to take the key from the front door of the house and also lodge a complaint to the police accusing the woman of beating him and busting his lips.
Rodney's leave to stay in the UK has been curtailed.
Beth is now waiting for her divorce, which has cost her £1,400 so far.
68 years old Beth Haining who is now a co-author of a book about her experience which is called 'The Girls Who Refused To Quit' is advising fellow women to be vigilant so as not to fall prey to people like this good looking young man from Africa.
