Mohammed Kudus is ranked better than Manchester United's Brazilian winger Antony by Dutch football star Marco van Basten.
Van Basten's remarks come as Antony has struggled to rediscover his form since joining United for €100 million from Ajax in the summer, netting only four goals in as many matches.
Kudus, on the other hand, has been in excellent form for Ajax this season, scoring 14 goals across all competitions and generating some fantastic moments in games. He was also the best player for Ghana at the World Cup in Qatar.
Van Basten commended Kudus' technical abilities and football intellect, describing him as a far superior player to Antony.
I find Mohammed Kudus a much better football player than Antony, Van Basten said on Ziggo Sport on Monday evening.
Antony has his skills, but he is confused with the things he is trying to do! Kudus has much better technique and he knows what he is doing. Antony may be faster, but Kudus is smarter and more technical. He is much more of a footballer, you can place him anywhere on the pitch, an all-rounder for the team.
Van Basten went on to remark that he prefers seeing Kudus play over Antony because he is a more entertaining player to watch.
The Dutch legend's words are sure to be well greeted by Ajax supporters, who have watched Kudus emerge as a crucial player for the squad this season.
