Date For Christian Atsu's 1 Week Obeservation Scheduled

The one-week observation of late Ghanaian international Christian Atsu is scheduled for Saturday, March 4, 2023.

Atsu was sadly killed in the earthquake that devastated Turkey earlier this month, shocking the football world.

During the one-week period of mourning, the family is likely to reveal the late footballer's funeral date.

Atsu was a gifted player who would be remembered fondly by Ghanaians for his outstanding efforts with the Black Stars.

He appeared in 65 games for the national team, scoring nine goals. At the 2015 Africa Cup of Nations in Equatorial Guinea, one of his goals earned him the Goal of the Tournament title, and he was also voted the Most Valuable Player.

Atsu has played for a number of prestigious European clubs, including FC Porto, Chelsea, Newcastle United, Everton, and Malaga.

His passing was a tremendous loss for the football world, and his one-week observance will allow his family, friends, and fans to pay their condolences and honour his memory.
