14 People Arrested In Connection With Disturbances At NPP's Constituency Election At Enchi

The police have detained 14 people for threatening to disrupt the re-run of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Constituency Executive Elections in Enchi, Western North Region.

They were apprehended today, Wednesday, February 8, 2023.

Kwabena Analdini, Kwasi Fobi, Isaac Oppong, Stephen Kwofie, Isaac Mensah, Kwame Amofah, Acheampong Ernest, Prosper Hato, Hadi Koder, Aryittey Tettey, Kwasi Mintah, Dominic Akapo, Odoom Botwe, and Emmanuel Arhin Owusu are among those named as suspects.

They were caught after breaking into the home of one of the election candidates in order to frighten her and scare others ahead of the elections.

According to the police, all 14 suspects are in police custody and will be brought before a court to face punishment.
