It Was Mistaken Identity; Christian Atsu Is Still Not Found – Hatayspor Club Doctor

Hatayspor club doctor Gurbey Kahveci claims there was a mix-up in reports claiming Ghana star Christian Atsu was found following Monday's earthquake in Turkey.

He now alleges that Christian Atsu and Taner Savut, the sports director of Turkish club Hatayspor, are yet to be seen.

There were initial reports that Atsu had been rescued from the wreckage and sent to the hospital with minor injuries.

Hatayspor's team doctor, Gurbey Kahveci, has revealed that both Atsu and Savut are still missing.

Kahveci stated that the club immediately proceeded to the Dortyol Hospital after hearing the news, but neither of the victims was found there.

"When we heard the news that he was taken to Dortyol Hospital, we especially went and looked, but he was not there. At the moment, we accept that [the sporting director] Taner Savut and Christian Atsu were not found, unfortunate," he said.
