Empress Njamah has expressed gratitude to her followers for standing by her after her ex-lover began sharing her explicit recordings online.
The Nollywood actress recorded a video from her house to assure her fans that she was OK and had not been harmed by the leaked video.
Njamah, who fled her house when George Wade beat her and took her passport, expressed gratitude to her supporters.
Njamah was engaged to Wade but ended their relationship after accusing him of physically abusing her.
Speaking in a Livestream via her business Instagram in December, the actress said: "A guy that one couldn’t even call a human being came into my life in the pretence of wanting to marry me, I didn’t know that he had other motives and he came when I was very vulnerable when I lost my friend, Ada Ameh.
"I didn’t know he was busy gathering his tools, his materials, which he was going to use to blackmail me.
"Afterwards, he had my naked videos, and he changed. He started hitting me and when I wanted to talk and tell him this can’t work; he blackmailed me with my own videos and said I’m going nowhere and that’s when he turned into an animal. Beats me anytime, locks me up, put the keys in his pocket, in my own house."
In what appears to be retaliation, Njamah's estranged partner has resorted to publicising her naked video for leaving him and making him look like the devil.
On Monday, George, a Liberian guy, started a WhatsApp group and began publishing nude videos he shot of Empress at her home, including innocent recordings of her having a bath.
Participants in Josh's Whatsapp group, which was founded specifically for the purpose of spreading Empress' naked video and naked photographs till the end of the year, have demanded that he be arrested immediately since it is a felony in Nigeria to broadcast the nudes of people without their agreement.
