A five-storey residential building in Ruiru, a suburb of Nairobi, fell on Monday just a day after its residents were evacuated.
Kimani Wamatangi, the local governor, saw the evacuation on Sunday as the structure started to crumble.
Local media reports said that it has over 100 tenants.
According to prior reports, the National Construction Authority (NCA) concluded that it was structurally unstable.
Citizen TV, a local television station, posted an image of the structure:
Near the scene of the most recent tragedy, two multi-story structures under construction fell last week.
