The 2022 World Cup squad for Ghana does not include Joseph Wollacott, although he will go to Qatar to train with the squad ahead of the match against Portugal.
Goalkeeper Joseph Wollacott will travel to Doha on November 22 to support the Black Stars in their opening Group H match on Thursday.
He will join the Black Stars two days prior to the game versus the European country.
Wollacott, who was essential to Ghana's World Cup qualifying but was forced to withdraw due to injury, plans to visit and inspire his teammates ahead of Thursday's first encounter against Portugal.
At Doha's 971 Stadium, the Black Stars will play their season opener against the former European Champions.
The remaining Group H matches between Ghana and South Korea and Uruguay will follow.
