Charles Nii Armah Mensah, a dancehall artist from Ghana named Shatta Wale, claims he would never be sidelined in the music industry.

He believed that if he was left out of a show, no one should blame it on him.

Instead, they ought to put the blame on his pricing, which may have been far higher than the event's budget.

According to Shatta Wale, who disclosed that he charges $200k for a performance, the claims that he has been sidelined can never be true.

After the Global Citizens Festival, Ghanaian music fans were perplexed as to why Shatta Wale was absent.

There were rumours that some business people protested organizers employing him, but the performer seemed to have addressed the subject in a post on Facebook.

He said “Don’t use the word sidelined, when my price is $200k …am not a lines man

GOG GO PEPPER DEM“.
