Police Arrest Two Over NDC Constituency Election Disturbances A Anyinam

In connection with disturbances and property destruction during the Atiwa East National Democratic Congress (NDC) Constituency Elections on October 23, 2022, the Police have detained two individuals at Anyinam in the Eastern Region.

According to the Police, the accused reportedly hired other individuals to attack, ruin, and disturb various premises.

Patrick Anyimadu and Millicent Pennin, two suspects who are now being held by the police and supporting the investigation.

“Efforts are underway to get the other accomplices arrested to face justice,” the Police said in a statement.
