My Life Is Under Threat - NABCO Trainee In NPP Campaign Billboard Reveals

Nicholas Teye, a former Nation Builders Corps (NABCO) trainee whose image appeared on campaign billboards for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) ahead of the 2020 General Elections, has disclosed that threats from people unhappy with the Akufo-Addo administration have put his life in danger.

In an interview with TV3, Mr Teye, 35, said that he is unable to walk about the town without wearing a disguise out of fear of being attacked by irate Ghanaians who suspect him of taking part in the NPP plot that is to blame for their current economic problems.

He continued by saying that he frequently gets calls from anonymous callers threatening to hurt him if they ever meet him for contributing to the pain of others in the nation.

When Mr Teye was a NABCO beneficiary, he said he received 300 Cedis for using his image to accompany the words.
