Former Asante Kotoko Coach Prosper Ogun Is Not Joining Hearts Of Oak - Spokesperson Hints

Prosper Ogun Narteh

Reports tying the former Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Ogun to the open Hearts position have been refuted by a close friend and confidant.

Asante Fokuo asserts that contrary to rumours, Dr Prosper Narteh would not be joining Accra Hearts of Oak.

After parting company with the club only three games into the season, Hearts of Oak do not currently have a permanent coach.

There have been several rumours that Dr Ogum will work alongside Hearts assistant coach David Ocloo, who has already been hired.

Last season, Asante Kotoko ended an eight-year league title drought with the aid of the former UCC lecturer.

For now, coach Ogum wouldn't go to Hearts. He thinks the timing and atmosphere isn't good for him now. He is a professional coach and just left Kotoko so wouldn't want to join Hearts. Prosper Ogun's spokesperson reveals.

There are lots of clubs in Africa that are chasing and will accept an offer at an appropriate time. He is now log heads with Alwasi Appiah and could handle one team in future.
