Rapper Black Sherif has been honoured by traditional leaders in the Northern Region as the Nachin Naa of Tamale for his achievements in the music industry.
The newly appointed "Youth Chief" of Tamale is presently touring the area in support of his debut album, "The Villain I Never Was," which was released on October 6.
Blacko was dressed in a lavish Northen smock and complementary headgear for royalty during the solemn coronation ceremony staged in the rapper's honour at the Dakpema Palace.
Black Sherif, real name Mohammed Ismail Sharif, thanked the people of Tamale and promised to support them.
The chieftaincy title was given to the 20-year-old rapper on Monday, October 10, 2022.
The rapper's 14-track album, which has garnered a lot of support from prominent figures in the local music business, has already topped charts and earned great reviews from music fans.
