Ghana Police arrests criminals

The Ghana Police Service has issued a statement that they have arrested three murder suspects in the Upper West region.

According to the issued statement, the trio was apprehended on August 30, 2022, from their hideouts in Kuntaali village, for allegedly killing a 29-year-old Fulani herdsman, Demo Jeti.

The suspects include John Dakurah, Numbuzie Chawinaa, and Tankpare Sylvester.

Earlier investigation shows that the deceased sent his cattle to the Kuntaali bush for feeding in the morning of 1st July 2022, however only the cattle came back home that day without him.

The police said, The lifeless body of the deceased was later found lying in between Chari and Kuntaali villages. The body was deposited at the Regional hospital, Wa for autopsy and later handed over to the deceased’s family for burial.

The statement further indicates that the suspects will be summoned before court to face justice.
