From the 1st of November 2021, WhatsApp can not be used on some smartphones.
The Facebook-owned popular messaging app has updated its software requirements and some phones have been affected.
The app will be compatible with certain phones including devices running on iOS 10 or higher, Android OS 4.1 or higher and KaiOS 2.5.1 or higher.
Most of these smartphones that have been affected are the old models of the phone type ranging from iPhone, Samsung, LG to Huawei.
You can check the operating system version running on your phone or simply read through the list if you will identify your phone here.
