
The Police have arrested a man suspected to have in his procession some narcotic drugs at the Christiansburg Castle junction.
In the early hours of Thursday, 2nd September 2021, the Special Weapon And Tactics (SWAT) officers from the National Headquarters Operations arrested a 38-year-old suspected narcotic drug dealer.
The suspect who goes by the name Samuel Asante was arrested after a tip-off by the Police.
During the arrest, the Police were able to retrieve 7 sacks full of dried leaves which are believed to be Indian hemp.
10 bottles of alcoholic drinks brewed with Indian hemp were also retrieved in his room.
The Police, therefore, encourages the general public to assist them with information on criminals and criminal activities in their area.
