In preparation for the Special New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential super delegates conference on August 26, 2023, a balloting session was held, determining the order of candidates on the ballot paper.
Kennedy Ohene Agyapong secured the coveted number one slot, with Alan Kwadwo Kyerematen following in second place.
The third, fourth, and fifth slots were drawn by Joe Ghartey, Kwadwo Poku, and Dr. Owusu Afriyie Akoto, respectively.
The remaining positions were assigned as follows: Kwabena Agyei Agyepong at 6th, Francis Addai-Nimoh at 7th, Dr. Kofi Konadu Apraku at 8th, Boakye Kyeremanteng Agyarko at 9th, and Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia at the 10th position.
On August 26, the NPP will select five aspirants from this lineup, who will proceed to contest in the final presidential primary scheduled for November 4, 2023.
