Slavko Matic, the coach of Hearts of Oak, was spotted at the Ghana Police Service CID headquarters in Accra on Friday morning, following an alleged attack by some of the club's supporters.
Matic was reportedly barred from training with the club at Pobiman, putting him under enormous strain following the team's recent dismal performance in the Ghana Premier League.
The National Chapters Committee (NCC), Hearts of Oak's fans group, has expressed its discontent with Matic and his technical staff, even declaring that he will not be allowed to lead the club in their next encounter against Asante Kotoko this weekend at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The team is currently struggling to establish itself in the league, having only two victories in their past six games at the time of this incident.
Matic is under pressure as a result of criticism from both the media and supporters for his team selection and approach.
