Great Ampong, a gospel artist, gained notoriety due to a dispute with Daddy Lumba, a Highlife icon, over the earnings from their collaborative album.
Nevertheless, Ampong has resolved not to make an oath that he will never work with Daddy Lumba again because of the maltreatment he suffered from him.
During an interview on Property Radio in Cape Coast, Ampong, who goes by the name Isaiah Kwadwo Ampong in private, was asked whether he would be willing to work with Daddy Lumba again if he apologized.
In response, he stated on the program, "I will never say never in this world, as there is nothing that is not possible to happen. Since anything can happen, I do not make a vow or an oath when issues like this arise."
He added, on Showbiz On Property, "Otherwise, if I say something and later do the opposite, it implies that I made a needless vow."
Ampong informed Amansan Krakye that he would not make an oath or vow that he will never work with Daddy Lumba again, particularly after his unpleasant personal experience with him, since anything is possible.
