All Top Ghanaian Journalists Who Have Resigned From Citi FM/TV

Omni Media, the parent company of Citi FM and Citi TV, has seen a wave of resignations, with nearly all of the station's senior journalists leaving.

Within months, all of the experienced brains who kept the station running and were the reason so many people tuned in decided to quit in large numbers.

Many people can not comprehend the rationale for their collective choice to leave the station, despite the media house's pedigree and what it provided.

When Jessica Opare Saforo announced her resignation from the station, she shattered many people's hearts who had grown to link her with the Citi brand.

Dzifa Ametam, the anchor of Citi TV's regular breakfast show, also abruptly departed. Her audience were upset when they learned the bad news.

"What is happening at Citi FM and Citi TV for all these top journalists to be leaving the station in a swoop?" Many have asked.

Below are the names of several top journalists who have left Citi FM and TV within the last few months:

Jessica Opare Saforo, Philip Ashong, Kojo Akoto Boateng, Dzifa Ametam, Fentuo Tahiru Fentuo, Olele Salvador, Daniel Koranteng, Kwame Dadzie, AJ Sarpong, Rastina Opare Saforo, OS Kwame, Sandister Tei, Miscellaneous workers including sound engineers, producers, technicians etc.

The station's general manager is Bernard Avle, and its managing director is Samuel Atta-Mensah. Several individuals are calling for explanations for the resignations.
