According to officials, the death toll from the terrible earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria has risen to at least 20,451.
According to Turkey's Disaster and Emergency Management Agency, the death toll in Turkey has grown to at least 17,134, with 70,347 more reported injured on Thursday (AFAD).
According to Syrian state media, the overall number of dead in Syria has risen to at least 3,317, including 1,970 in rebel-held regions in the northwest, according to the White Helmets civil defence group, and 1,347 in government-controlled areas.
The overall number of injured individuals in Syria increased to 5,245, with 2,295 in government-controlled regions and 2,950 in rebel-held areas.
According to data from the Turkish government, the White Helmets, and official Syrian media, at least 75,592 people have been injured in Syria and Turkey.
