No FIFA Ban For Kudus Mohammed, Ready To Play Against Uruguay

Kudus Mohammed and the Black Stars team mates

Kudus Mohammed raced to the camera and said some unheard remarks during the celebration of his second goal against South Korea.

He may have uttered the "F" word, which is forbidden by FIFA and fiercely condemned by the governing body of football.

Some media publications had already claimed that the Ghanaian midfielder will probably get a FIFA suspension and would not play in our match against Uruguay on Wednesday.

Because he would have been subject to any of the three FIFA disciplinary sanctions listed below if the facts and investigations confirm he did use the "F" word;

Pay a fine, receive a suspension, and miss out the game against Uruguay

The fact that Kudus never used the F word while celebrating, as certain media men had earlier understood and implied, has brought solace to Ghanaians.

Although the specific words he spoke are not audible, it is certain that he did not swear.

He will play for Ghana against Uruguay tomorrow with all of his heart and soul, and we wish him success as he has already pledged to give it his all to ensure Ghana advances to the round of 16 in the current World Cup.
