Ghanaian Fans Arrested In Qatar For Illegally Selling World Cup Match Tickets

Some football supporters from Ghana were detained and taken to court in Qatar for allegedly selling World Cup tickets.

The minister made this information known to the Ghanaian delegation in Doha, which is there to assist the Black Stars.

Mustapha Ussif implored the audience during his address to forgo reselling the match tickets they had fought so hard to obtain.

"The police and security organizations are constantly on-site at the stadiums, keeping an eye on things." We have toiled to get you tickets, we don’t want any of you to go out and sell them.

"So far, the authorities have made several arrests and are prosecuting individuals; they have also sent the Ambassador the proof. The Minister said, "We don’t want anyone to fall into this.

The Ghanaian Black Stars now occupy the second spot in Group H after losing to Portugal in their opening match and defeating South Korea on Monday in the second match.

The Black Stars' final encounter is on Friday, and for Ghana to move to the competition's knockout stages, they must at least draw.
