Psalm Adjeteyfio, who was recently diagnosed with end-stage heart failure, passed away at his home in Ayikuma, according to the Kofi Asare Brako. TT died at the age of 74.
Waakye
On August 2, 2022, veteran actor Prince Yawson, also known as Waakye, passed away. Ghanaians, especially movie enthusiasts, were shocked by the actor's passing. The passionate actor, known affectionately as Tutu, co-starred in a number of films with notable actors such as Agya Koo, Kyeiwaa, Emelia Brobbey, and others.
AB Crentsil
On July 13, 2022, at the age of 79, the legendary highlife musician Alfred Benjamin Crentsil, better known by his stage name AB Crentsil, entered eternal life. Sound engineer Fred Kyei Mensah, commonly known as Fredyma, wrote on Facebook to confirm the tragic news that the well-known musician had passed away.
He posted: "FAREWELL AB CRENSTIL. The original composer and singer of the famous and controversial songs, ‘Moses and Atia’, AB Crenstil, has died! He had a stint with a lot of bands before joining the Sweet Talks Band with Smart Nkansah and then his own band, Ahenfo. His hit songs, ‘Juliana and Obi ba wiase’, cannot be forgotten"
Ekow Blankson
Ekow Blankson, a seasoned Ghanaian actor, passed away on October 3, 2022. Actor Ekow Blankson, who played the lead role in the hit show Stryke, was highly regarded. He was a central figure in the television series Accra Medic at the time of his passing. At GhanaWeb, Ekow Blannkson also served as the commercial manager. It is unknown what caused the death.

Quappiah claims that the comedian called him inconsolably to inform him that he had fallen from his bed and hit his head on the floor. Later, he hurried home, but by the time he arrived, he had already been taken to the hospital. Unfortunately, when he arrived at the hospital to which he had been sent, he learned that Baba Spirit had passed away.
Dr Cann
Dr Cann, a Ghanaian radio host, passed away on March 25, 2022. Born Francis Ebo Cann, Dr Cann was a renowned entertainment host who spent many years with Accra-based Happy FM. At the time of his untimely passing, he was the host of Happy FM's weekend entertainment program "Showbiz Extra." The same station's "Ayeeko Ayeeko" program was hosted by Dr Cann.
Nana Nsiah Piesie
On April 7, 2022, Ghanaian highlife artist Nana Nsiah Piesie passed away. The musician's brother, Rev. Stephen Ohene Boahen, shared the information in an interview with Peace FM. He asserts that on Monday, April 5 at Pokuase, Greater Accra Region, Nana Nsiah Piesie was engaged in an accident. According to Rev. Boahen, Nana Nsiah Piesie had an internal haemorrhage and fractured neck as a result of the tragedy. He was taken to the 37 Military Hospital in Accra before being moved to the Accra Regional Hospital.
Patrick Safo
Patrick Safo, a well-known Kumawood actor, also passed away this year. According to reports, Patrick Safo drowned in a pool on Saturday, June 4, 2022, and passed away. His close buddy posted the actor's unexpected passing on social media. The actor was also a preacher. "Kumawood actor and pastor, Rev. Patrick Safo is dead," he said on Facebook.
