Biography of Akrobeto

For the past three decades and counting, the Ghanaian actor Akrobeto, well known by his stage name, has enlivened our screens with his flawless acting abilities, elegance, and charisma.

Although Akrobeto has appeared in more than 100 films, few people are aware of anything about his personal life since he is a modest star who prefers to keep his identity hidden.

Akrobeto began his successful acting career by initially playing with the Apostle Kwadwo Safo Snr's Kristo Asafo Band in the late 1980s.

Later, in the late 1990s and early 2000s, he received an invitation to attend the infamous Keysoap concert party.

Early Life And Career of Akrobeto

On November 18, 1962, Akwasi Boadi, also known as Akrobeto, was born. His late parents were modest cocoa farmers who did everything in their power to provide him with the ideal existence up to their passing.

The renowned comedian attended Akyem Ayerebi L/A Primary and Middle School, where he started his basic education, and finished in 1979.

Although he grew up with his other 10 siblings, they are all currently deceased, leaving him as the only survivor.

After performing on stage with the Kristo Asafo Band since he was 18 years old, Akrobeto's big break came in 2016 when he was chosen to play the main role in the well-known Kumawood movie  'Na me nnim'.

Since then, he has been in more than 200 local films and comedy series, including Asantewaa (2019), in which he plays Agyekum, and The Return of Jamal (2022), in which he plays Akrobeto.

In addition to performing, Akrobet hosts UTV's Real News program, a role that has helped him become well-known internationally.

Additionally, he has represented several business entities both domestically and abroad as a brand ambassador.

Akrobeto, also known as "Who nose tomorrow," has had a career spanning over three decades and has made a significant impact on the local film industry by winning over 20 awards.

At the Entertainment Achievement Awards only in 2021, he was recognized as the year's top entertainment personality.
