There are now everyday altercations between commercial bus drivers and passengers as a result of the recent increases in fuel and transportation costs.
A guy died a little over two weeks ago during a scuffle with a fellow trotro mate ( a commercial minibus conductor).
Reports state that the guy passed away as a result of a dispute about a GH2 fare increase.
The drivers implemented the additional rate increase that the GPRTU had announced.
The worried man, however, was baffled as to why the mate was also taking GH2 in addition to the previous fare.
A recent video online also captures a passenger who feigned to be dead in order to avoid paying his transportation fare.
The man in the video ignored the trotro mate's requests to pay his fee.
Even though he hadn't yet arrived at his destination, the car was finally halted for him to get out after numerous failed efforts.
