Today is the first day of a three-day working visit by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo to the Eastern Region.
He will visit ongoing projects and commission completed ones, and interact with local traditional leaders.
In addition to participating in the conference's official opening, President Akufo-Addo will conduct an interview with Rock City Radio while he is in the Abetifi constituency's Rock City.
The building of the road project connecting Nkawkaw, Abirem, Ofoase, and Akim Oda will then be inspected at Nkawkaw.
Following a courtesy call on the Chief of Ofoase, President Akufo-Addo will check on the progress being made on the Ofoase-Ayirebi Agenda 111 Hospital Project before travelling to Akyem Asuboa in the Asene Manso Akroso constituency to check on a related project there.
The commissioning of a 1D1F Beverage Factory, a 24-Unit Classroom Block at St. Martins SHS, as well as a housing complex inside the Nsawam Camp Prison, all in the Nsawam-Adoagyiri constituency, will start off day two of the visit.
He will then travel to Kwabeng to check on the progress being made on the Buntaa Farms and Agenda 111 hospital projects, as well as to commission the Model STEM Senior High School and the Abomosu bridge and examine the Abomosu Polyclinic in Atiwa West.
The opening of the Archdeaconry at St. Mark Anglican church in Kyebi will kick off the President's final day of his trip to the Abuakwa South constituency.
He will thereafter make his way to Koforidua's Yiadom Hwedie Palace to pay the Omanhene of the New Juaben Traditional Area, Daasebre Kwaku Boateng III, a courtesy call before officially opening the 24-unit classroom block at Pentecost Senior High School.
To wrap up his trip to the area, he will inaugurate the recently built New Juaben South Municipal Assembly in Koforidua.
