On a high-voltage GRIDCo transmission line at Kasoa, a man has taken his own life.
The high-voltage transmission pole in Kasoa Galilea is where he is said to have climbed.
In the Ga South District of Greater Accra, Galilea is situated after the Kasoa toll booth on the route from Weija to Kasoa.
He reportedly said he was bored with life, according to eyewitnesses.
Videos of the tragic incident that was posted online reveal that he was shocked after stepping on the transmission line.
The cops afterwards moved the body of the deceased to the morgue.
The event occurred on Friday (October 14, 2022) and the individual involved has been identified as Kofi Kakra, a bus conductor who is 24 years old (trotro mate).

People at the scene attempted to stop him from reaching the top when he tried to climb it, but he outsmarted them.
He reached the top, grabbed the voltage disc, and used his feet to contact the cord. He was electrocuted right away.
The burned body was found on the ground and subsequently transported to the mortuary by the police.
