Prior to the November 2022 World Cup break, the senior national team of Belize, the Jaguars, will host Ghanaian giants Asante Kotoko in a friendly march.
The team is anticipated to play the side in two friendlies slated for November 18–20, 2022, between the two-time African champions.
The club's administration said in a statement that this was part of their efforts to keep the team active during this time.
"As part of our planned activities to keep the team active during the World Cup break, the team would be embarking on a trip to Belize to play their Senior national team Men's team (The Jaguars) on the 18th and 20th of November 2022 tentatively"
The collaboration between Asante Kotoko and the Belize Football Federation includes this engagement.
The time frame would also be used to prepare the league winners for their matchup with Great Olympics, an Accra-based team, in the Ga Mantse Cup on November 27, 2022.
The Kumasi-based team will be travelling to play other teams for the second time this season after playing some clubs in Sudan and Tunisia earlier.
