Vital body parts have been missing from the victims of the serial killings in Wa in the Upper West area.
According to accounts, the unidentified attackers cut out the hearts and masculinity of the deceased, all of them were guys.
Suphan Iddrisu, the youth group leader who is in charge of the crew searching for the remains, said this in an interview on Tuesday's Dwaso Nsem program on Adom FM.
He worries that there may be further remains buried in the forest where one was found on Sunday.
According to Mr Iddrisu, they discovered some other body pieces that they believe may belong to someone else.
"In the past three months, 10 security personnel have died, yet we have only discovered three remains. We worry that there could be more," he lamented.
The majority of the town's mentally unstable residents have vanished since the unexplained deaths, according to Mr Iddrisu.
Because they carry out the illicit activities in a "very clean manner," he is confident that there is a syndicate.
Mr Iddrisu claimed that as a result of the ritual killings in Wa and its surroundings, people are now living in dread and he pleaded with the police to step up security in the region.
