From today, Monday, September 12, 2022, to Tuesday, September 13, 2022, President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will travel on a two-day business visit to the Volta Region.
The President is due to engage with local traditional leaders and commission new projects while also inspecting others that are already underway.
On September 12, 2022, President Akufo-Addo will attend the Ghana Bar Association Conference's opening ceremony in Ho before participating in an interview with Stone City Radio.
After that, he will travel to Kpeve to check on the status of two construction projects in the South Dayi Constituency: the Agenda 111 Hospital Project and the Eastern Corridor Road.
The President will visit the Chief of the Akpini Traditional Area in Kpando before wrapping off the day's events by touring the steel bridge being built there.
The tour's second day will start with a visit to the military barracks of the 66th Artillery Regiment in Ho and a look at the Ghana Secondary Cities Support initiative in the Ho Central Market.
After that, President Akufo-Addo will travel to Aflao, in the Ketu South constituency, to officially open the Aflao Community Day School.
After paying a courtesy call to the Paramount Chief of the Battor Traditional Area, he will continue to the North Tongu constituency to inaugurate the North Tongu District Magistrate Court, which will mark the end of the President's visit to the area.
