A UK-based Ghanaian has explained that he pretends he does not speak Twi when he meets fellow Ghanaians in the UK because the Ghanaian community there is the bedrock of many problems.
According to him, he avoids them mostly because 90% of them are nosy and chronic blabbermouths who do not know how to mind their business, as a result, the last thing he will ever do is to make friends with any Ghanaian over there.
I am not someone who would meet a Ghanaian on the street and would want to make friends with them, no. I’ll help you if I can, and if I also need help, I’ll come to you if I have the discernment of God to do that.
He further added that you will hardly see him visit someone because social media and some of these friendships and the things we allow from them cause most divorces in the community.
