Boxer Alfred Lamptey To Fight Ndauendapo In Tanzania On Friday

On September 30, 2022, the national super featherweight champion Alfred Lamptey will square off against the boxer Abraham Ndauendapo of Namibia.

The Ghanaian boxer, who has ten fights under his belt and eight knockouts without suffering a loss, left for Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, on Monday to complete his training for the bout in the eighth round.

Before leaving, Lamptey was in good spirits and told the media that he was confident about winning in Tanzania.

He said that this fight will aid his quest for a crack at the world championship shortly and urged Ghanaians to support him.

He expressed his gratitude to his management and coaches for their help and support during his career.

The boxer's manager, Mr Alex Ntiamoah Boakye, who travelled with the team to Tanzania, expressed optimism for success and said they planned to utilize the fight as a springboard for the boxer's next professional move.

He stated that the goal was to win the world championship and that he would look into other possibilities to help the fighter achieve his aspirations of being the champion of the world.
