King Charles III of the United Kingdom has personally invited His Royal Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, the Asantehene, to the state burial of the late Queen Elizabeth II.
Additionally, Lady Julia Osei Tutu, the Asantehene's wife, is also expected to be at the event.
Otumfuo will go as invited to the King's Reception, the State Funeral Services, the Queen's Lying-In-State, and the Foreign Secretary's Reception.
The occasion will occur on September 19, 2022, on a Monday.
