After being detained for unlawful mining in Ghana, Aisha Huang now faces further accusations.
She was essentially arraigned before the Criminal Division of the High Court on Friday after the fresh allegations were brought against her.
The additional allegations include conducting a mining operation without a license, encouraging others to participate in mining activity, illegally hiring foreign nationals, and entering Ghana while being barred from doing so again.
On Wednesday, she and three other people were denied bail.
Along with Jong Li Hua, Huang Jei, and Huaid Hai Hun, Aisha Huang was first charged with engaging in mineral sales and purchases without a licence and mining without a legal license.
