There have been reports of a fire outbreak in South Africa's Parliamentary building in Cape Town.
The unfortunate incident that was recorded in the early hours of Sunday morning, spreads to the wing housing the current National Assembly.
Our report reveals that it took them over 8 hours to kill the fire although 36 firefighters were at the scene to help put the fire down.
In the 8 hours of the fire ravaging the building, the roof of the Old Assembly building was completely collapsed.
The fire started at around 3:00 a.m UTC on the third story of the building in the office space and spreads towards a gym.
According to South African President Cyril Ramaphosa, one person believed to be involved in this incident has been arrested and being questioned.
Someone has been held right now and is being questioned, President Ramaphosa revealed.
No casualty has so far been recorded.
