The police have arrested two people at East Legon Hills for robbery.
This incident which happened on Sunday 5th December 2021, was made known in a press release from the Ghana Police Service signed by Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Kwesi Ofori, Director-General, Public Affairs.
The two suspected robbers were arrested after a distress call received by a Police Patrol Team reporting to them the invasion of two unknown men in the neighbourhood at CPL Estate, East Legon Hills.
The Police after the call rushed to the scene and were able to arrest the two suspects who go by the names Samuel Agyei and Sumaila Mahama.
The Police also retrieved a 75-inch curved television set, an iPhone 12 pro max, a Techno smartphone and a revolver pistol with four rounds of ammunition.
The statement also revealed that the team found a KIA Morning sallon car with a registration number AC 123-19 parked at the roadside by the suspected robber.
The two suspects are currently in Police custody while further investigations are being conducted.
