The residents of Fumso in the Ashanti Region are in a state of terror as huge crocodiles invade the community.
The entire community of the Fumso in the Adansi Asokwa District woke up today to be met with two wild crocodiles roaming freely in the community.
The incident which has put fear in the natives is believed to have something to do with the river god of the community.
According to some of the residents, the unexpected invasion of these animals might be resulting from the anger of the river God.
In an interview with Pure FM sighted by davasnews.com, one of the residents revealed that most of the community members are locked up in their rooms due to the scare of being attacked by these animals.
This is the first time we are seeing strange things like this and we believe the crocodiles are coming from the Fum river in the community, he said.
He also added that some of the community members are willing to end the life of these animals but they feared they came from the river.
Those who are not afraid have been able to get closer while others threatened to kill them but they are afraid the crocodiles were sent by the river, he added.
The Fumso traditional council who also believe the animals present in the community has something to do with the anger of the river god poured libation to the Fum river for forgiveness if they have in any way offended the river.
Surprisingly, the two crocodiles went back to the Fum river after the rituals and libation were performed.
