The Awoamefia of the Anlo Traditional Area, Torgbi Sri III has commended Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II for his good work in promoting peace, unity and social harmony in the Ashanti Region.
According to Torgbi Sri III, the good works of the Asantehene is the reason why all tribal groups in the Ashanti region are leaving in peace and harmony.
Torgbi Sri III made this statement in his speech in a meeting with the Ewe Community in Kumasi, the capital of the Ashanti Region.
The purpose of this meeting was to encourage members of the Ewe community in Kumasi to continue to work hard so as to bring prosperity to themselves, their families, the communities and the country thereby promoting the welfare of the people.
The meeting which was graced by the Awoamefia was also attended by Torgbi Adzorlolo II, Dufia of Kedzi and some dignitaries of the Anlo Traditional Council.
Torgbi Sri III, therefore, charged his people to contribute to developmental projects back home in the Volta Region.
