Brazilian football sensation Neymar da Silva Santos Júnior, known simply as Neymar, has raised eyebrows with his extravagant demands before his transition from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) to Al Hilal in the Saudi Pro League.
The move, sealed on a two-year deal, will see Neymar pocket a staggering £2.5 million every week.
Not content with a simple transfer, Neymar negotiated a series of luxurious conditions with his new employers.
Among his demands were a fleet of eight luxury cars for himself and his entourage.
The car collection comprised four Mercedes G Wagons, a Mercedes van with a dedicated driver available around the clock, and an assortment of high-end vehicles, including a Bentley Continental GP, Aston Martin DBX, and Lamborghini Huracan, totaling an estimated cost of £510,000.
His new home was not to be any less extravagant. The house was to be outfitted with three saunas, a private pool measuring a minimum of 10 meters by 40 meters, and a spacious 25 rooms to accommodate his friends, family, and entourage.
In addition to his personal chef, Neymar requested a sous chef, five full-time workers, and cleaning staff to manage the household.
Neymar's demands extended beyond his residence. He required his favorite Açaí juice and Guarana drinks stocked at all times, and he asked for his expenses at hotels, restaurants, and various cities to be covered by Al Hilal's owners.
Moreover, his contract stipulated the provision of a private jet for his family's travel needs.
The financial details of Neymar's contract are equally staggering. His annual wage is set at £137.8 million, translating to £11.4 million per month.
This places him among the top earners in the Saudi Pro League, surpassing the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.
