[PHOTOS] Asamoah Gyan, Muntari, Agyemang Badu And Other Ex-Black Stars Players Visits Christian Atsu's Family

Former Black Stars players Asamoah Gyan, Sulley Muntari, Agyeman Badu, and Haminu Dramani paid a visit to Christian Atsu's family on Tuesday, February 21, to express their condolences.

The former players gathered early in the morning at the Atsu family home to sign the book of condolences opened in honour of the late footballer.

Atsu's dead body was found in the ruins in Turkey after an 11-storey building fell on him and others following an earthquake in Turkey and Syria two weeks ago. Last Sunday, the late Atsu's corpse was transported to Ghana from Turkey.

Asamoah Gyan, who also tweeted a photo of himself visiting the Atsu's family home, claimed he went to sympathise with the family.

The former Black Stars captain said, “I was at the house of our brother Christian Atsu, to commiserate with them. Rest in the bosom of the Lord, my brother.”

Christian Atsu, a former Newcastle United and Bournemouth player, was among the Ghanaian football players in Turkey when the earthquake occurred.

The former Chelsea winger was reported missing until his dead body was located beneath the wreckage of his collapsed Hatay flat.

The former Black Stars players' visit is intended to express sympathy with the family of the dead footballer.

As the news of the great winger's death surfaced, fans and sportsmen from all around the world have sent their condolences.
