Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson Nearly Lost His Mother In A Car Accident

Dwayne Johnson has disclosed that his mother, Ata Johnson, was in a terrifying vehicle accident and luckily survived.

On Thursday, February 2, the 50-year-old actor posted to Instagram a photo of a red Cadillac with substantial damage to the passenger's side.

Johnson praised God in the post, saying that "she's ok" and that angels of compassion were watching after his mother.

"She'll survive and continue to get evaluated," he continued in the caption. "This woman has survived lung cancer, tough marriage, a head-on collision with a drunk driver, and attempted suicide. She's a survivor, in ways that make angels and miracles real."

Johnson went on to praise the Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles Fire Department for "being so caring and dedicated," as well as for "staying on the phone and talking me through it all."

The Black Adam actress went on to say that she'll survive and continue to be evaluated, citing the difficulties she's already faced.

"This woman has survived lung cancer, tough marriage, head-on collision with a drunk driver and attempted suicide," the A-list actor said. She's a survivor in ways that make angels and miracles seem genuine.

Johnson, whose father Rocky Johnson died in January 2020, implored his fans to show their parents love.

He wrote: "She'll survive and continue to get evaluated,'" noting the obstacles she's previously overcome. "This woman has survived lung cancer, tough marriage, head-on collision with a drunk driver, and attempted suicide," the A-list actor said. "She's a survivor, in ways that make angels and miracles real."

"I got one parent left, so if you still got your mom and dad make sure you hug em hard, cos you never know when you'll get that 3am call we never want to get".
