Manchester United shows Interest In Mohammed Kudus

Mohammed Kudus

Manchester United is allegedly looking at acquiring Ajax forward Mohammed Kudus as they continue their quest for a Cristiano Ronaldo replacement this month, according to 90 minutes.

Ronaldo's contract was cancelled before the World Cup following an explosive conversation with Piers Morgan; nevertheless, his departure, which came at little to no cost to United at the time, has now left manager Erik ten Hag bereft of choices in the attack.

The Dutchman has acknowledged openly his desire to sign a new forward this month, but he has been keen to highlight that if they are to enter the market, they must sign a player who matches the necessary profile.

Ten Hag is also familiar with Kudus because of their time spent together in Amsterdam, where Kudus has been since 2020.

Although there have been alleged behind-the-scenes conversations, no offer has yet been made.

The club's financial condition has lately been questioned, and United has been placed up for sale by the controversial Glazer family, therefore transfer activity in the near future is unclear.

Given the club's general situation, United wants to look at cheaper agreements this month, while loan-to-buy options are being examined as well.

United is interested in Kudus, but Memphis Depay, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, and even Olivier Giroud are also on the list. Milan is still hopeful of retaining the French superstar.

Ronaldo's name has been mentioned since he joined Al Nassr, the side for whom Vincent Aboubakar plays.
